  Abbott Hospital
  A historic 1910 hospital found vacant
  & boarded in the heart of Minneapolis, after
  decades as a "transitional care" facility.

  Cambridge State Mental Hospital
  An abandoned mental state mental asylum,
  and the utility tunnel system beneath it,
  shut down due to cruel treatment of its
  prisoners. Err, patients.

  Fort Snelling Upper Post
  A complex of semi-ruined old military
  buildings near Fort Snelling.

  Gopher Munitions Plant
  Known to locals as "the U-lands," the
  remains of a defunct WWII munitions plant
  provide the adventurous with thousands of
  acres to explore.

  GTA Head House / Sack House
  Last structure left standing of a grain
  elevator district along the river bank
  near downtown Saint Paul.

  Hamm's Brewery
  A complex of around four dozen abandoned
  buildings dating back to 1864; the birth-
  place of Hamm's Beer. A 'Grade-A' industrial
  playground.

  "Hellhouse" Sanitarium
  An oldie, a goodie, but a not hereie any
  moreie. Originally the Mudcura Sanitarium.
  Now a pile of ashes. Sad.

  Hillcrest Bowl
  An abandoned bowling alley built in the
  1950's during the golden era of American
  bowling. Demolished in 2003.

  Ice Building
  Another wonderful abandoned site that is
  no longer with us on this mortal coil.
  Demolished in 2001.

  Martha Ripley Maternity Hospital
  An abandoned maternity hospital on the
  National Register of Historic Places.
  Boarded up professionally, but we got in.

  Mineral Research Center
  A large, machinery and artifact-choked
  scientific/industrial research building
  that has stood empty on the U of MN
  campus for years.

  Minnesota Ghost Town Huntin'

  Montana Flour Mill
  In Minnesota, not Montana. A vacant
  flour mill still full of wooden machinery
  from the 1800's.

  An abandoned church built in 1908,
  built like a Roman Temple.
